| At last someone did it! According to News24 a new site called stopsms.co.za will be opening in the next few weeks where you can name and shame persistent SMS spamming companies. The site will be similar to the well known HelloPeter.com where you can list your grievance and get the offending company to respond. Last year the government passed new legislation that outlined a whole set of guidelines that SMS companies have to follow in order to protect the public against SMS spamming. Definitely a good thing! |

Vodacom – Offline….
February 6, 2008People usually complain about Telkom. But you know, Vodacom is allot worse. I was expecting a call from my sister from the US, and all I get from my phone is “Missed Call”. Try to phone 111 for Vodacom Customer support and you get “Call Disconnected”. Thanks Vodacom – my contract is up for renewal in March, guess I’ll move all 5 of them somewhere else!
What scares me, is the fact that you may need your phone to phone the police in case of emergency – guess what: “Call Disconnected”
